Shopping Centre Manager – Sierre, Suisse Silvermere AG is looking for a reliable, organized, and service-oriented person to fill the position of Shopping Centre Manager in Sierre, in Valais. The position is scheduled to start from 1 February 2027 and is envisioned as a part-time role, with the activity rate to be discussed. This is a practical and varied role, ideal for a person who enjoys operational management, relations with tenants, customer service, coordination with external service providers, and the good general maintenance of a commercial real estate property. The hired person will act as the main local point of contact for tenants, visitors, commissioned companies, and management, to ensure that the centre is well-managed, welcoming, and professionally maintained. The function will include the coordination of the daily operations of the shopping centre, monitoring the cleanliness, security, maintenance, and general presentation of the site, as well as the identification and monitoring of any potential works, defects, or operational issues. The responsible person will be required to collaborate with various external service providers, particularly in the areas of cleaning, maintenance, technical services, and security, in order to ensure compliance with the expected standards. A significant part of the role will consist of maintaining positive and professional relations with tenants. The Shopping Centre Manager will need to communicate with them regularly, understand their operational needs, handle common issues with diplomacy, and contribute to creating a constructive, efficient, and service-oriented environment within the centre. The position will also involve regular communication with the property owner or management. This may include reports and updates regarding tenants, maintenance issues, provider performance, visitor experience, local or marketing initiatives, as well as general operational topics. The sought person must therefore be comfortable with administrative tasks, file monitoring, the preparation of simple reports, and the use of common office tools. We are looking for a responsible, proactive person capable of working autonomously. Experience in retail, hospitality, property management, technical management, operations, or customer service would be particularly relevant. Direct experience in managing a shopping centre would be an asset, but is not indispensable if the person possesses the necessary practical sense, interpersonal skills, and organizational capacity. The ideal profile is trustworthy, diplomatic, solution-oriented, and attentive to detail. They must be able to deal professionally with tenants, suppliers, visitors, and management, while ensuring rigorous follow-up on matters until their resolution. A calm, practical, and structured approach will be essential to succeed in this function. Proficiency in French is required. English and/or German would be an advantage. A good knowledge of Sierre, Valais, or the local commercial environment would also be appreciated.
