Technical Business Analyst "Java" Workplace: Bern region (hybrid remote) Working time: 80-100% Type: Temporary, Freelance, Permanent employment To strengthen our teams as part of a client project, we are looking for an experienced business analyst with strong technical expertise in the Java world. In this role, you act as a bridge between business departments, the sector, and different IT teams. Thanks to your deep technical understanding and your analytical abilities, you grasp complex contexts and can realistically evaluate what is technically feasible. Tasks • In collaboration with business representatives, the PO, and IT specialists, you collect, analyze, and evaluate business and technical requirements according to an agile approach • Accompanying software implementation from requirements gathering to testing and validation • Participation in an agile Scrum team in a shoring configuration with developers, testers, and the PO • Close coordination with business analysts, architects, and developers from other teams for the cross-functional coordination of technical solutions Requirements Indispensable: • Degree in computer science or business informatics (HF, FH, ETH, Uni) or equivalent • Experience in business analysis and solution design as well as with agile project methods • Several years of experience in software development as an architect and/or backend developer • Ability for conceptual and solution-oriented thinking and action • Fluent command of German and English • Availability for travel (approximately 2-3 times per year for one week at the shoring partner) Desirable: • Technical knowledge in the field of public transport and data protection issues • Experience in design and analysis of data models (UML / SQL) • Experience in design and analysis of interfaces and graphical user interfaces (GUI) • Experience with agile working methods (SAFe, Scrum) • Experience in Java development • Knowledge of tools: Jira, Confluence • Taste for complex business and technical subjects Information on the technology stack: • Java 11, Kotlin; Spring (Boot, Data, Security, Cloud); NoSQL databases; AWS and OpenShift; Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Bitbucket Start: as soon as possible Workplace: Bern (hybrid remote) Only direct applications will be considered.
