This is your contribution • Plan, coordinate and lead the logistical tasks and deadlines in connection with the delivery, return and relocation of systems, army material, ammunition, provisions and fuels • Receive and manage goods (receipt, identification, control, recording) as well as deliver them (shipping: order processing, picking, planning/organization of distribution, goods delivery) • Ensure storage (optimization of storage areas, assessment of quantity/quality of stocks, readiness for use, stock turnover, disposal) • Ensure inventory management of systems, army material and ammunition while ensuring compliant warehouse management • Lead working groups (consisting of the assigned members of the army and/or civilian personnel) during the delivery, return and relocation of systems and material • Be available as a contact person for the service recipients (troops, troop craftsmen, military and civilian customers) and instruct troops in Italian and German on the correct handling of the material as well as its care and maintenance What makes you unique • Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ) as a logistics specialist with further training to become a Logistics Specialist with a federal professional diploma • Commercial further training as well as possession of driving licenses of categories B, C, CE and F are an advantage • Ability to act independently and responsibly, goal and result orientation, organizational skills as well as a expeditious and conscientious way of working • A strong willingness to make contact and provide advice to customers; knowledge of army material as well as basic military knowledge are an advantage • Good IT skills, in particular the MS Office package and the SAP system • Good communication skills; good knowledge of a second official language What we offer • Working for Switzerland We are committed to the Swiss success model and work for the benefit of the population. • Lived diversity Thanks to equal opportunity we develop our competencies and bring in different perspectives. • Healthy at the workplace We support and advise our employees in the area of physical and mental health.
