Le Centre social is one of the largest associations of this type in Switzerland. On behalf of 28 municipalities with a population base of more than 100'000 people, we intervene with great commitment, in an accessible and networked manner in the following areas: child and adult protection authority (KESB), professional guardianship, social counselling, mother and father counselling, addiction counselling, and school social work.

Deputy Sector Manager Social Counselling #

The social counselling and addiction sector is versatile and offers a wide range of counselling services. This includes personal and economic social assistance, youth and education counselling, budget and debt counselling, clarifications for municipalities and in the field of child protection for the KESB, as well as addiction counselling. The sector also includes school social work in eleven municipalities.

Your tasks

Global responsibility for the company

• Co-responsibility for inter-site collaboration and the integration of the sector into Le Centre social
• Co-decision in operational matters
• Active participation in the development of the company and quality management, as well as maintaining professional relations and exchanges with the associated municipalities in the Hochdorf region

Personnel responsibility

• Direction of the social counselling team personnel at the Hochdorf site
• Participation in the development of personnel and the team
• Conducting probationary interviews, employee interviews, and exit interviews

Professional responsibility

• Professional and operational responsibility for the social counselling team (SB) at the Hochdorf site
• Professional coaching of employees
• Case management in versatile social counselling
• Responsibility for high quality, professional standards, and efficiency of social counselling as well as addiction counselling according to Quatheda guidelines
• Participation in project and design work

What you bring

• Degree in social work (FH)
• Several years of professional experience in one or more areas of social work
• Management training (or willingness to undertake it)
• High reliability and stress resistance
• Ability to manage conflicts and to assert oneself
• Knowledge in controlling, quality management, and company development
• Integrative, mature, and loyal personality
