The contribution you can make

• Coding of causes of death and stillbirths according to the International Statistical Classification of Diseases and Related Health Problems (ICD-10-WHO)
• Analysis and evaluation of incomplete reports
• Answering telephone and written inquiries from medical staff and hospitals
• Other specific tasks (collaboration in process optimization, verification of data plausibility, introduction of new coding and recording tools, etc.)

What distinguishes you

• Completed training in the medical sector (e.g., nurse HF, medical practice assistant AFZ)
• In-depth knowledge of medical terminology and pathology
• Experience in ICD coding, in particular experience in computer-assisted ICD coding
• Active knowledge of one official language and passive knowledge of a second

You have training in the medical field and, ideally, already have experience in ICD coding of diseases; furthermore, you appreciate flexible working hours.
