The Direction Cohésion sociale, logement et sécurité publique of the Ville de Morges includes various offices, including the Office de la cohésion sociale, to which Espace Couvaloup is attached, a center for animation and social work of the Ville de Morges that offers, for the general public, different activities throughout the year as well as neighborhood animations. Espace Couvaloup is looking to fill a position as:

Head of Youth Sector at 80%

Main tasks:

• design, animate and monitor projects meeting the needs of young people and coordinate the youth projects of the Ville
• supervise and coordinate the team of social workers and monitors, organize and plan activities, conduct recruitment processes and ensure the monitoring as well as the evaluation of employees.
• promote access to socio-cultural and sports activities, and lead prevention, information and support actions
• ensure the administrative management of the sector, prepare the budget and monitor expenditures
• collaborate with youth partners and the local social work team
• manage equipment, the layout of spaces and the purchase of material.

We wish for:

• HES degree in social work or community health, or training deemed equivalent and continuing education in team management ;
• 2 to 5 years of experience in animation and project management, and regular practice with a young audience
• confirmed experience in supervision and team management
• CAS de praticien·ne formateur·rice (PF), an asset
• knowledge of Vaud social systems and the associative fabric related to youth
• availability for flexible and irregular hours, including in the evening and on weekends.
