Your tasks:

• Leadership, motivation and development of the team
• Ensuring goal achievement based on relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction, turnover, service quality)
• Organization and control of the flow of goods (goods receipt, stock, reassortment, spare parts)
• Responsibility for the planning and implementation of advertising and promotional measures in the sports area
• Active customer advice
• Technical and organizational contact person for the department and sales team
• Responsibility for the deployment planning of employees as well as recruitment of new team members
• Ensuring an attractive, clean and functional product presentation
• Carrying out inventories and supporting cash management
• Seasonal deployment in ski sales (winter) and bicycle sales (summer) in close coordination with internal teams.
• Visual Merchandising for products and the department

What you bring with you:

• Several years of professional experience as a Department Manager with leadership experience, ideally in a sports or retail environment
• Completed vocational training with a Swiss Federal Diploma of Vocational Education and Training (EFZ), preferably in sports retail or a comparable training in retail
• Enthusiasm for sport, movement, products and dealing with people
• Very good German skills as well as good English skills; other languages are an advantage
