Branch Manager Quartierplattform Sicht:Bar 4052

The Verein Sicht:Bar is a new neighborhood platform, which is co-financed by the Canton of Basel-Stadt and the Christoph Merian Stiftung. The association's mission is to make the actors active in 4052 visible and to network them better. Through networking, synergies are to be created in order to launch projects and activities together that contribute to the well-being and livability in 4052. In addition, the association is a contact point for neighborhood residents who want to implement their own ideas in 4052. The project will be run as a pilot project until the end of 2027 and is intended to be transferred into a permanent offering in the sense of a district secretariat from 2028 onwards.

As the current manager is leaving us, we are looking for a successor (female or male) at a 50% workload as of 1.October 2026 or by arrangement

Your tasks

• Mediating as an interface between the concerns of the district and the administration and supporting communication and networking between different stakeholder groups from the population
• Initiating and accompanying projects and events in the 4052 neighborhood that enrich neighborhood life, support coexistence, and promote contact between different population groups
• Supporting individuals and groups in the realization of their project ideas.
• Active building and maintenance of contacts in the 4052 neighborhood
• Maintenance and management of various digital communication tools (website, newsletter, social media)
• Administrative work
• Conceptual cooperation in the further development of Sicht:Bar 4052 in cooperation with the Canton, the district secretariats, and the Gundeldinger Koordination

Your profile

• University degree in Social Work (FH), ideally with a focus on socioculture, or comparable qualifications
• Experience in the field of neighborhood work and in concept and project work
• Independent and responsible working, reliability, and flexibility
• Open, sociable, and strong organizational personality
• Profound IT skills (MS Office 365) and good digital competencies (website, newsletter, social media)
• Experience in accounting or willingness to acquire the necessary knowledge
• Good German skills
• Willingness to work at least two afternoons and occasionally on Saturday afternoons and during evening appointments
