Test Automation Developer

We in the test automation team support the internal software developers with consulting and the provision of suitable test automation tools for testing in the sense of Quality Shift Left. As a member of our team, you will drive the transition to continuous releases with knowledge, experience, team spirit, and enthusiasm for quality assurance. In doing so, you work hand in hand with the PostFinance development teams to support them in the subject areas of test automation in a modern CI/CD process. What you can achieve • You advise and support the development teams in expanding test automation – from the selection and introduction of suitable solutions to test strategies, through to integration into CI/CD pipelines and reporting. • You play a decisive role in determining how our test automation tools and their use in the pipeline are designed • You drive our vision and implementation of modern test automation forward with the team • You continuously develop our test automation tools, open-source libraries, and frameworks and promote their efficient use • You build up environments on Kubernetes including simulations into the delivery pipelines What you bring with you • Completed IT training (FH/HF) or a comparable qualification • Experience in the development of backend and/or frontend applications as well as in test automation, quality assurance, and the integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines; ISTQB certification is an advantage • Methodological competence in the conception of test strategies, the definition of test coverage, and the continuous improvement of test processes • Sound knowledge of modern technologies and frameworks such as Kubernetes, Helm, Node.js, TypeScript, Maven, Java, and Spring (-Boot) • Passion for software quality and pleasure in accompanying and empowering development teams as a sparring partner • Team-oriented, hands-on personality with enjoyment in knowledge exchange as well as proficient German skills in speaking and writing
