Position: Intern Electronic Board Design Engineer

Entity: Laboratoire Electronique Commercial Vehicle (LECV)

Location: Boncourt, Switzerland

You will participate in the development of innovative solutions for applications intended for commercial vehicles (trucks). You will join a multidisciplinary team in charge of the design, validation, and industrialization of power electronic systems.

Your mission ###

• Participate in the design of power and control electronic boards.
• Create electrical schematics and ensure PCB routing follow-up.
• Develop and implement test benches.
• Characterize and validate electronic components (MOSFET, drivers, sensors, power supplies, etc.).
• Perform functional, thermal, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) tests.
• Analyze test results and write the associated technical reports.
• Participate in technical investigations and problem solving.
• Contribute to the writing of design and validation documents.

These activities will allow you to participate in the various phases of the development of an electronic product, from design to validation, in an environment combining innovation, industrialization, and power applications.

Your skills ###

• Knowledge in analog and digital electronics.
• Interest in the design, validation, and testing of electronic boards.
• Knowledge of power electronic components (MOSFET, drivers, power supplies, etc.).
• Knowledge of simulation tools such as LTspice, Matlab/Simulink or equivalent.
• Notions in electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) are a plus.
• Analytical spirit, rigor, and autonomy.
• Technical curiosity and taste for innovation.

Your background ###

• Engineering student in the final year of training (Master's level or equivalent), with a specialization in electronics, power electronics, or embedded systems.
