Annually, over 30'000 patients are treated on an outpatient basis and approx. 2'000 patients are treated as inpatients. The competence area for neuromuscular diseases at the Inselspital is one of the largest university clinical departments in Switzerland and is dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of patients with a wide neuromuscular spectrum of diseases. As a kose-recognized reference center, we coordinate care for rare neuromuscular diseases together with other specialist centers and patient organizations.
