insieme Basel is an NPO with a diverse range of offers in the areas of education, leisure, travel and living in the Basel region for people with a disability.

For our leisure center, we are looking for a committed personality who plans, organizes and accompanies varied leisure activities together with people with disabilities. You promote self-determination, social participation and active togetherness.

Specialist in Care - Sociocultural Animation 70%

Your tasks

• Planning, organization and implementation of leisure activities
• You provide professional support to people with disabilities and design programs together with them
• Cooperation and collaboration with other institutions/offers
• Recruitment and instruction of substitute staff and volunteers
• Administrative work and responsibility in an area of responsibility
• Participation in team meetings as well as further development of offers and concepts

What you bring with you

• Training in the social, pedagogical or animative field (e.g. FaBe EFZ)
• Experience in supporting people with disabilities
• Independent, structured and reliable way of working
• High social competence, empathy and teamwork skills
• Readiness for flexible assignments and work on the weekend
• Good MS-Office skills and interest in participatory cooperation
