Logistics, Freight Forwarding & Production Coordination Specialist 40%

Brotschi Décolletage AG is a Swiss precision turning parts manufacturer based in Selzach. We produce demanding components for international customers, including in regulated industries. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a reliable, structured and technically interested person for a central coordination function between production, quality assurance, external processors, customers and suppliers. Your tasks In this versatile function, you ensure that deadlines, material flows and external processing steps are cleanly coordinated and monitored. You keep an overview of ongoing orders, rework and delivery deadlines and ensure that critical information is passed on internally and externally in a timely manner. Your main tasks include in particular: • Monitoring and coordinating deadlines for ongoing production and delivery orders • Coordinating external processing steps such as grinding, hardening or other third-party work • Technical and deadline-related clarifications with external processors, suppliers and internal departments • Coordinating with quality assurance after each external processing step • Ensuring the exit QC gate before shipping or further processing • Issuing delivery notes and shipping documents • Packing, preparing and organizing deliveries • Picking up and delivering orders and parts from suppliers, customers and external processors • Inventory management and stock control for WIP, finished products and raw materials • Monitoring the stock of packaging materials and other logistics-related consumables • Checking material certificates, delivery notes and accompanying documents upon delivery • Checking whether deliveries are complete, correctly labeled and documented • Telephone and general administrative service in day-to-day business • Close collaboration with production, quality assurance, purchasing and management Your profile You are very well organized, reliable and keep an overview even with multiple parallel topics. Deadlines are binding for you, and you work carefully, foresightedly and solution-oriented. Technical understanding and a pragmatic way of working are particularly important in this position. You bring: • Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, production coordination, work preparation, purchasing or a similar industrial environment • Very good organizational skills and a high sense of responsibility • Basic technical understanding, ideally from metal processing, medical technology, precision manufacturing or a comparable field • Experience in handling delivery notes, material certificates, order documents or technical documents • Careful, structured and reliable way of working • Ability to consistently track deadlines and escalate deviations at an early stage • German language skills mandatory, with very good oral and written expression • English language skills at least at level B2 (with certificate) • Other foreign languages, especially French and Italian, are an advantage • Very safe handling of MS Office, especially Outlook, Excel and SharePoint, as well as good IT user skills • Driving license category B mandatory We offer • A central, responsible function in a small, dynamic industrial company • Direct insight into production, quality, logistics and customer orders • Short decision-making paths and a practice-oriented working environment • A varied activity with high personal responsibility • A workload of 40%: part-time, Monday to Thursday Work location Selzach, Canton of Solothurn Application If you like to coordinate, keep deadlines under control and enjoy a technical production environment, we look forward to your application.
