The Verein Schlafguet opened an emergency sleeping shelter in Olten for the Canton of Solothurn on April 1, 2024. With this project, we want to offer people in need a roof over their heads 365 days a year. Until now, there has been no such offer in the Canton of Solothurn. With our emergency sleeping shelter, we are closing this gap. Become a part of this project.
The night care is secured by double staffing consisting of one professional and one volunteer. During the day, the offer is closed. Further information can be found on our website www.schlafguet-olten.ch .

We are looking for a reinforcement for our team as of December 1, 2026, or by arrangement as a

Team Lead/Care Professional ##

Area of responsibility:

• Management of the emergency sleeping shelter/emergency hostel and the specialist team
• Day-to-day business: Caring for guests during the night
• Conducting admission interviews with guests and deciding on admission according to operating regulations/concept
• Close cooperation with all stakeholders
• Triage to medical, psychological, and social services
• Responsibility for personnel, operations management, and the supervision of volunteers
• Collaboration in the further development of the emergency sleeping shelter/emergency hostel in cooperation with the administration and association management
• Together with the administration management, you will take on tasks in the administrative area and be the contact person for third parties, especially regional social services
• Minor housekeeping tasks

Requirement profile:

• a completed training, preferably in the social, health, or another social field
• experience in social institutions, ideally also with vulnerable people
• leadership experience
• high resilience, assertiveness, ability to set boundaries
• open, appreciative, and respectful basic attitude
• the willingness to work at night and on weekends
• experience in the gastronomy sector is an advantage
