We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Azure Cloud Engineer, an expert in Infrastructure as Code and equipped with a structured approach to problem-solving. In this role, you will quickly master and manage our unique dual cloud environment, including the exclusive "Sovereign Cloud Switzerland" platform - operated entirely in Switzerland - as well as Deloitte's regional cloud workloads. You will play a key role throughout the entire lifecycle of our cloud platforms, driving continuous improvement with a strong focus on automation and operational excellence, leveraging emerging AI technologies where appropriate. Collaborate closely with our business teams to seamlessly integrate new applications, thereby enhancing efficiency and productivity. How you can make an impact • Develop and manage the technical capabilities of our cloud operations team in Switzerland. • Build and maintain the cloud platform while supporting multiple Azure solutions to meet business needs. • Collect and exchange best practices between our international cloud teams. • Develop and maintain automation solutions to deploy platform workloads and applications. • Monitor and manage technical escalations for cloud operations and identify new tools and practices to improve our cloud platform. Profile sought • You consistently demonstrate excellent communication skills. You take the initiative to contact relevant stakeholders when necessary and intervene with your expertise to bring significant value, thus ensuring the smooth running and efficiency of projects. • You are not only curious and comfortable adapting to new technologies, but also an excellent learner capable of sharing your knowledge with your colleagues. • You are certified Azure Admin Associate (AZ-104) and Azure DevOps Expert (AZ-400). Any additional certification (cloud architecture, system administration or development) is a major asset. • Throughout your career, you have acquired experience in automation and provisioning approaches, using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Bicep, Bash, PowerShell, Python and C#. • In-depth knowledge of the configuration and management of Windows and Linux environments, experience with infrastructure (databases, Active Directory, DNS, firewalls, network) in Azure and in on-premises data centers would be an advantage. • Knowledge of agile software development tools and methodologies.
