Reporting to the Supply Chain department, you are responsible for managing storage activities and the circulation of materials and products between the various workshops.

Your priority will be to ensure stock reliability, the fluidity of internal flows, and the efficiency of the logistics organization.

This position is intended for a field manager, capable of mobilizing collaborators around common goals.

Logistics Manager - Stock Management & Internal Flows

The company is taking a new step in the evolution of its logistics operations, with the implementation of an almost entirely automated storage environment.

We are looking for a Logistics Manager to accompany this evolution, ensure the proper management of stocks and internal flows, and develop the skills of a team of approximately 20 collaborators.

Missions

Management and development of the team

• Supervise, lead, and support a team of approximately 20 collaborators working in a storage environment.
• Identify skills and potential within the team, and promote their development towards expanded responsibilities, particularly in stock management.
• Develop the versatility and flexibility of collaborators to strengthen the organization's adaptability.
• Establish proximity management, based on trust, communication, and the support of teams.

Stock management and internal flows

• Supervise the reception of raw materials as well as the management of stocks of raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished products.
• Guarantee the reliability of stock movements and the smooth circulation of products between the various workshops.
• Ensure the coordination of internal flows, from the reception of raw materials to the availability of finished products.
• Supervise preparation and picking operations when specific customer needs require it.
• Coordinate inventories and contribute to improving the reliability of stock data.

Analysis and continuous improvement

• Analyze flows, stock levels, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement.
• Propose and implement actions aimed at optimizing the organization and efficiency of logistics operations.
• Utilize data available in SAP and Excel to ensure rigorous monitoring of activity and facilitate decision-making.
• Support the evolution of working methods in the context of the move and the automation of the new warehouse.
• Collaborate closely with the Planning, Purchasing & Procurement, Production, and Customer Service teams to ensure the consistency of flows.

Candidate profile

• Higher education in logistics, Supply Chain, or an equivalent field.
• Proven experience in managing logistics teams, ideally in a storage and stock management environment.
• Solid understanding of challenges related to stocks, internal flows, and coordination with production.
• Ability to identify skills and potential within a team, and to develop the versatility of collaborators.
• Good analytical skills and ability to use data to identify concrete improvements.
• Proficiency in SAP and excellent mastery of Excel.
• Ability to operate in a demanding operational environment, to manage priorities, and to deal with unforeseen events.
