The offering includes 380 execution places for closed execution, pretrial detention and short sentences. The central prison of the Justizvollzugsanstalt Lenzburg is further expanding its offering and is creating a specialized admission department, which in the future will process all cantonal admissions around the clock. To ensure medical care in the admission process, a specialized health service is being set up, which will take on a central role in the initial health assessment and support of the admitted persons.
