Group Financial Controller

For our client, a successful and internationally active industrial company with a holding and management company in Baar, we are looking for an entrepreneurial-minded finance personality with a will to shape and drive.

In the context of further growth, this position is being newly created. As Group Financial Controller, you report directly to the CFO and assume a central role in the further development and professionalization of the Group Finance function.

We are expressly not looking for a personality who primarily manages existing structures. Rather, this position offers the opportunity to rethink processes, build structures, and actively further develop finance – from Group Reporting and consolidation to the establishment of new topics such as Treasury and Cash Management.

You act as a sparring partner to the CFO and the Group Management, work internationally with the finance teams, and receive the necessary visibility and scope for design to actually implement changes.

Group Financial Controller

Your tasks

• Responsibility for Group Reporting, consolidation as well as monthly reporting, Strategic Plan, budget and forecast for the international group
• Preparation of management reports and analyses for the executive board, board of directors and shareholders as well as coordination of the annual financial statements and external audit
• Establishment and further development of the Group Finance function and establishment of professional, scalable processes and structures
• Development of new finance topics, particularly in the area of Treasury, Cash Management and other Group Finance processes
• Initiation and implementation of finance transformations, including in ERP, process harmonization, automation and reporting
• Close cooperation with the CFO as a sparring partner and deputy for strategic finance topics as well as support for the Group Management and the international finance organization

Your profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, Business Administration or a comparable field of study
• 5–10 years of experience in Financial Controlling, Group Accounting, auditing or Corporate Finance in an international environment
• Sound knowledge of Financial Reporting, consolidation and accounting; IFRS is an advantage
• Entrepreneurial personality with strong drive, hands-on mentality and the ambition not just to manage, but to build and move things
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills, paired with high independence and convincing stakeholder management
• Very good ERP and Excel skills, ideally experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Power BI
• Very good German and English skills
