Educator-teacher - Specialized Pedagogical Support at 40% With an inclusive aim, Specialized Pedagogical Support is addressed to students in ordinary school (1st to 11th grade) presenting a neurodevelopmental disorder, difficulties related to the autism spectrum, with or without intellectual disability, having a significant impact on their learning, their communication and/or their behavior. Through weekly interventions in regular classrooms, the SPS practitioner implements support taking into account the cognitive, affective, motor and social dimensions of the student. This support aims to develop their autonomy and to facilitate the organization of their work. It also includes the adaptation of their environment and the structuring of time. SPS is part of the Domaine de Compétences Soutien Ambulatoire, Accueil et Hébergement (SAmAH) of the Fondation Les Perce-Neige and is looking to satisfy its mission Educator-teacher - Specialized Pedagogical Support at 40% Educator-teacher - Specialized Pedagogical Support at 40% Your mission: You intervene within the framework of the Specialized Pedagogical Support (SPS) branch intended for students with mental disabilities or belonging to an autism spectrum disorder, or learning disorders attending regular classes in public school. You work in close collaboration with regular classroom teachers with a view to promoting the school (cycles 1, 2 and 3) and social integration of the student, acting as a resource person. Your profile: You benefit from a HEP pedagogical training (HES social work training or equivalents will be studied), ideally completed by training in special education. Confirmed experience with students having special educational needs and schooled in ordinary school cycles is an asset. Your personal commitment, the tact and diplomacy you are able to demonstrate will be guarantees of success.
