Varied and responsible – your main tasks

You will take responsibility for defined purchasing and product areas and, together with the purchasing team, ensure a reliable supply of goods. In doing so, you will combine daily operational purchasing work with the further development of our procurement. Your tasks include:

• Independent processing of operational purchasing from order to goods receipt
• Ensuring availability of goods as well as monitoring delivery dates and minimum stock levels
• Creation and processing of purchase suggestions; coordination with national and international suppliers
• Monitoring and coordination of container business; checking supplier invoices and customs clearances
• Processing of complaints and quality cases
• Collaboration on sustainability topics as well as monitoring and implementing regulatory product requirements and internal guidelines
• Maintenance of article, supplier, and purchasing master data; observation of procurement markets, prices, and delivery conditions
• Development of sustainability guidelines
• Support in supplier meetings and condition negotiations
• Collaboration in the evaluation and further development of existing suppliers
• Identifying and implementing optimization opportunities regarding costs, availability, and purchasing processes
• Collaboration in cross-departmental projects

Independent and team-oriented – what you bring with you

• Commercial or comparable training
• Further training in purchasing, for example as an Einkaufsfachfrau or Einkaufsfachmann, is an advantage
• Several years of experience in operational purchasing
• Enjoyment of daily business combined with interest in strategic purchasing topics
• Good understanding of goods flows, availability, and stocks
• Experience in import and container business is an advantage
• Confident handling of ERP systems and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Good German and English skills in spoken and written form
• Negotiation skills and a good sense for costs and quality
• Structured, reliable, and solution-oriented way of working
• Initiative, sense of responsibility, and enjoyment in working with various interfaces
• Interest in our products regarding floor coverings, skirting boards, profiles, and tools
