To strengthen our team in the Global Engineering department, we are looking for a dedicated Senior Project Manager Automation (a) 100%.   Your tasks: • Management and coordination of automation projects with a focus on GMP-compliant production processes (e.g., Batch Control, MES, SCADA, DCS, SPS) • Development and implementation of automation strategies to increase efficiency and ensure quality • Technical responsibility for the selection, integration, and validation of automation systems • Support during audits and inspections by authorities (e.g., FDA, EMA) in the field of automation • Mentoring and technical leadership of (Junior) Automation Engineers and project teams • Interface management with internal stakeholders (Production, Quality, IT, Engineering) as well as external partners and suppliers • Creation and maintenance of GMP-relevant documentation (e.g., URS, FDS, IQ/OQ, Change Control) • Evaluation of new technologies and trends in the field of Industry 4.0 and their application in a regulated environment   Your profile: • Completed degree in automation technology, electrical engineering, process engineering, or comparable qualification • In-depth knowledge of automation systems such as Siemens PCS 7, Rockwell, DeltaV, ABB, or comparable platforms • Several years of professional experience in automation in a GMP-regulated environment (pharma, biotech, chemistry) • Experience in GMP-compliant validation of automation systems • Proven project management skills and experience in leading interdisciplinary teams • Very good knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements (GMP, GAMP 5, 21 CFR Part 11) • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and high self-responsibility • Fluent German and English skills in writing and speaking   Our offer: • A dynamic and strongly growing work environment with internal development opportunities • Flexible working hours with the possibility of home office and option to take additional vacation days with reduced working hours • Employee promotion through numerous internal and external training opportunities • 60% takeover of pension fund contributions by Bachem AG as well as the possibility of over-obligatory provision with our choice savings plan • Access to the Swibeco benefits platform with discounts from external partners • Fresh, healthy, and varied food in our staff restaurant • Various free sports activities on the Bachem campus   Do you want to drive innovations forward with us?
