In order to complement our teams already in place and to meet growing needs, we are looking for experienced male and female psychiatric nurses in the Côte sector in the canton of Vaud:

Psychiatric Nurses (M/F)

Structure and contract:

• Structures based in the Côte, in the canton of Vaud
• Specialties offered: psychiatry
• Temporary missions on short notice and long term

Your profile:

• You hold a HES nursing degree or equivalent for more than 2 years with diploma recognition by the Swiss Red Cross,
• You have a first confirmed and successful experience in the hospital sector of at least 6 months in Switzerland,
• Confirmed experience or strong interest in the field of psychiatry and mental health.
• Listening skills, excellent sense of empathy, rigor and effective management of crisis situations.
• You possess great interpersonal ease and know how to manage your emotions
• You are rigorous, adaptable and flexible

Your mission:

• Ensure the global and individualized care of patients hospitalized in a psychiatric unit.
• Assess care needs, plan and administer appropriate nursing interventions.
• Conduct support interviews and participate in group or individual therapeutic activities.
• Actively collaborate with the medical team, social workers and other partners in the socio-sanitary network.
• Guarantee the traceability of care and the management of patient files via the current IT tools.
