Childcare Specialist EFZ (m/f/d), 60 - 80% - Day Structure

The Bürgerliches Waisenhaus, with its pedagogical network, enables babies, children, adolescents, and young adults to receive promotion and care appropriate to their age and development. The offering in the family and school-supplementary sector includes four Kitas, two day structures, and around 50 day families. The Bürgerliches Waisenhaus promotes the compatibility of family and career. For the primary level day structure Theodor (kindergarten to 3rd grade), we are looking for, as of 01 October 2026 or by arrangement, a Childcare Specialist EFZ (m/f/d), 60 - 80% - Day Structure Area of responsibility: • Responsibility for leading a mixed-age group of children • Co-responsibility for the well-being of the children and their age-appropriate development • Planning and accompanying various leisure activities • Cooperation with parents, teachers, and external specialist agencies Requirements: • Degree HF Childhood Pedagogy (preferred) or as FaBe K EFZ • High pedagogical specialist knowledge and creativity • Patience, motivation, and joy in working with children and in teamwork • Reliability, assertiveness, and sense of responsibility • Resilient and capable of handling conflict • High willingness to develop personally We offer: • An interesting and varied activity with room for creative design • An attractive and professional working environment • Employment conditions of the Bürgergemeinde der Stadt Basel • The possibility to take on a leadership function (Ped.
