In order to strengthen our Facilities & Services department at SICPA, we are looking for a:

Maintenance technician

General mission

The Maintenance Technician autonomously and proactively ensures the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and monitoring of the technical infrastructures of the Florissant site, including notably the installations serving the laboratories, the Data Center, and the general infrastructures of the site. He is responsible for the technical installations from their production to their distribution or connection point to user equipment, in compliance with current safety rules, standards, and prescriptions.

Technical areas concerned:

Electricity

• Electrical production and distribution of the site.
• Maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical installations up to the connection point.
• Intervention according to the required skills and authorizations.

Sanitary and heating

• Production and distribution of heat and water.
• Maintenance of networks, pumps, valves, and associated installations.
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of installations.

Cold production and distribution

• Cold production and associated installations.
• Distribution networks and circuits.
• Pumps, valves, and peripheral equipment.
• Monitoring of operating parameters and troubleshooting.

Ventilation

• Operation and maintenance of ventilation and air extraction installations.
• Ventilation of premises, notably laboratories and technical zones.
• Monitoring of flow rates, temperatures, pressures, and operating parameters.
• Diagnosis and troubleshooting of installations.

Compressed air

• Production and distribution of compressed air.
• Maintenance of compressors and distribution networks.
• Monitoring of installations and search for anomalies or leaks.

Automation and supervision

• Operation and monitoring of automation and supervision systems for technical infrastructures.
• Monitoring of alarms and installation parameters.
• Diagnosis of faults and interventions within the limits of skills and authorizations.

Autonomy and organization

The Maintenance Technician works autonomously and organizes his daily activity according to priorities, emergencies, and the needs of the site.

He ensures the follow-up of interventions, identifies anomalies, and proposes suitable solutions. He collaborates with external companies or specialists when the necessary skills exceed his scope of intervention.

On-call service

Participation in the on-call service approximately once a month, when the team is at full strength, in order to ensure the continuity of operation of the technical infrastructures of the three sites: Florissant, Campus, and Bussigny.

Main responsibility

The Maintenance Technician contributes directly to the availability, reliability, safety, and sustainability of the technical infrastructures, within his field of competence and up to the distribution or connection points.

PROFILE:

Training and experience

• Technical training in the field of maintenance, electricity, HVAC or equivalent training.
• Proven experience in the maintenance of infrastructures and technical installations.
• Good knowledge in several technical fields: electricity, ventilation, heating, sanitary, cold, compressed air, and automation.
• Holder of an electrician authorization according to Art. 13 OIBT. Failing this, holder of at least an authorization according to Art. 15 OIBT or meeting the conditions to obtain it.
• Experience in a laboratory, industrial, or Data Center environment is an advantage.

Technical skills

• Ability to diagnose and resolve breakdowns autonomously.
• Good understanding of technical installations and their interactions.
• Ability to intervene on complex installations and analyze the causes of a malfunction.
• Knowledge of automation and supervision systems.
• Ability to perform preventive, corrective, and curative interventions.
• Aptitude to work with external companies and specialists when necessary.
