The SRK Canton Bern is committed to more humanity throughout the canton. Over 800 employees and around 2000 volunteers are involved in the areas of relief, health promotion, education, and integration. The childcare service at home SRK (KBH) offers parents temporary relief in difficult situations. As a caregiver, you support families at home on call in case of illness of the children or parents, in cases of care shortages, and in emergency situations. Your deployments are by the hour or by the day.  For the Seeland - Jura Bernois region, we are looking for a motivated and independent person as an employee for childcare at home SRK from November 1st or by arrangement, by the hour according to order. Your tasks: You take over the hourly or daily care of children in their home. You design the care according to the agreements with the guardians. You occupy the children according to their age and possibly prepare meals. Your profile: You have an advantage with basic training in the pedagogical or healthcare field. You can provide experience in the field of education, care, and/or nursing of children. You have experience in age-appropriate care of children and are creative. You live in the Seeland-Berner Jura region. Having your own car is an advantage. You bring the willingness to irregular deployments according to order. You understand Swiss German and have knowledge in handling digital applications. You are resilient and have a good handling of difficult care situations. You are an independent, reliable, and empathetic person and handle confidential information with respect.
