The Office for Food Safety and Animal Health is a department within the Department of Economic Affairs and Social Affairs. In the cantons of Graubünden and Glarus, it ensures protection against animal diseases, the enforcement of animal welfare, and the control of primary animal production. To protect against unsafe and deceptive food and consumer goods, it also monitors the production and distribution chains of the affected businesses. We are looking for a Head of the Office for Food Safety and Animal Health (with simultaneous function as Cantonal Veterinarian) starting July 1, 2027, or by arrangement.
