What you can achieve

• Leadership, organization, and further development of the Corporate Security Governance team and ensuring efficient service delivery
• Representation of the Chief Security Officer in the further development, management, and monitoring of the group-wide corporate security management system as well as ensuring effective governance in the areas of safety, security, environment, sustainability, emergency and crisis management, and business continuity management
• Setting and governance of all integral security specifications for the RUAG MRO Holding AG group in the area of security, such as the development, maintenance, and further development of policies, standards, and specifications including supporting documents in the areas of physical security, operational security, emergency and crisis management, and business continuity management
• Ensuring an effective control system (2nd Line of Defense) through audits, assessments, risk and vulnerability analyses, and follow-up of measures
• Monitoring compliance with legal, regulatory, normative, and internal requirements in the subsidiaries as well as assessing security risks, threats, and vulnerabilities
• Functional leadership, coordination, and management of the Corporate Security Experts as well as ensuring a coordinated approach between the specialist departments
• Functional advice to the operational business fields and subsidiaries as well as preparation of reports and decision-making bases for the Chief Security Officer, Executive Board, Board of Directors, and specialist committees
• Management and support of improvement and further development projects as well as conducting training, awareness measures, and management briefings
• Management of cooperation with internal and external stakeholders such as authorities, auditors, customers, and control bodies and supporting the business fields during external audits and customer reviews

What you bring with you

• University degree (FH/Uni) in security or risk management, military or police sciences, engineering, business administration, or a comparable field of study
• Several years of professional and leadership experience (at least 5 years) in the field of corporate security, security management, or a comparable governance, risk, or assurance function
• Profound knowledge in at least one of the specialist areas of security, crisis management, business continuity management, or protection of critical infrastructures
• Very good knowledge in the field of security management, risk assessment, auditing, and governance as well as in the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies, standards, and control mechanisms
• Experience in leading change and improvement projects as well as in cooperating with decentralized organizational units
• Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills as well as an analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Confident appearance as well as experience in cooperating with authorities, customers, auditors, and other relevant stakeholders
• High integrity, initiative, sense of responsibility, and assertiveness
• Very good German and good English skills, other languages such as French or Italian are an advantage
