You are there from the beginning. Where data must become reliable. You ensure that data quality is measurable, automatically monitored and sustainably improved – for the entire SABAG Gruppe.

Data Quality Specialist 80-100%

What you drive

• You ensure that data is not discussed, but used reliably
• You define quality dimensions and make data quality measurable with clear metrics
• You develop automated test rules, validations and monitoring dashboards across all divisions
• You analyze data flows, find the causes of data problems and derive effective measures
• You build data pipelines and workflows that ensure quality from the start ("Quality by Design")
• You examine where AI and automation can improve data quality, for example in anomaly detection or data cleansing
• You work closely with the Data Architect, the Data Stewards and the specialist departments
• You prepare results for the Data Council and grow into the moderation of this committee
• You make progress, risks and quality transparent and understandable, also for management

What you bring

• You bring clarity to data and remain persistent when it becomes uncomfortable
• A university degree/training in Data Science, Computer Science or a comparable quantitative subject or sound experience in the field of data quality, Data Governance or in comparable roles.
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL; experience with large amounts of data and data pipelines is a plus
• The ability to define quality metrics and to analyze data problems in a structured and reproducible manner
• An understanding of data flows, integrations and system interdependencies
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI and with automated reporting
• Clear communication and the ability to prepare complex results understandably for management and specialist departments
• Assertiveness in conflicts of interest and a focus on measurable improvement instead of on paper
• Good German and English skills; French is an advantage
