Expert Intensive Care NDS Recovery Room 80 - 100% Bern

In the recovery room of an acute hospital in Bern, you will monitor patients during the critical phase directly after surgery, recognize complications early, and help manage postoperative pain therapy. Immediately or by arrangement, we are looking for you as Dipl. Expertin Intensivpflege NDS HF or Dipl. Experte Intensivpflege NDS HF at a workload of 80 – 100 %. You will care for patients after complex procedures, monitor vital parameters, and work closely with anesthesia and surgery.

• Care and monitoring of patients in the recovery room after surgical procedures from various specialties
• Monitoring after regional and general anesthesia as well as early recognition of complications
• Ensuring preoperative preparation for patients with morning admission
• Documentation and performance recording in the clinical information system
• Active participation in the optimization of processes and quality assurance measures
• Close interdisciplinary cooperation with anesthesia, surgery, and other specialist departments

What you bring with you

• Completed training as Dipl. Expertin or Experte Intensivpflege NDS HF
• Several years of professional experience in an acute hospital, ideally in the recovery room, intensive care unit, or the field of anesthesia
• Very good German language skills in speaking and writing
• Confident handling of complex patient situations
