Stiftung Werkstatt Waldemar operates an inclusive bicycle workshop in the heart of Uettligen BE. In our small, fine bicycle workshop, we offer people with disabilities or difficult life situations a stable working framework and a perspective. Through the manual activity in our bicycle workshop, we promote professional and social integration and strengthen personal resources. For our social place of work with four employees, we are looking for a technically skilled and socially competent personality as of immediately or by arrangement as: Bicycle Mechanic / Coordinator Bicycle Workshop with pedagogical tasks (m/f/d) 30-80 % Your tasks: • Coordination of the bicycle workshop: You coordinate incoming orders, monitor their timely and professional execution, and ensure correct and complete invoicing. • Repair & Refurbishment: You are responsible for the professional repair and maintenance of customer bicycles as well as the refurbishment of second-hand bicycles for sale and ensure timely execution. • Technical guidance: You accompany and empower our employees in the repair, overhaul, and maintenance of bicycles of all kinds (incl. e-bikes). • Quality assurance: You guarantee professional customer service, high workshop quality, and compliance with safety standards. • Social integration: You shape an appreciative everyday working life, promote personal and professional development, and accompany our employees individually according to their needs. Your profile: • Completed training as a bicycle mechanic (EFZ) or comparable qualification. • Several years of professional experience, ideally in a similar function. • High social competence and interest in working with different people. Pedagogical training is an advantage, but not a requirement. If interested, we are happy to support you with corresponding initial or further training. • Patience, empathy, and a resource-oriented way of working. • Organizational skill and a structured way of working.
