Senior Material Quality Engineer

In this role, you are responsible for the material quality of critical raw materials in semiconductor manufacturing and independently manage complex quality and supplier issues.

Tasks

• Drive the material quality approach for critical raw materials in production
• Define and further develop CTQ concepts and control strategies
• Lead complex material quality investigations into deviations, yield, and reliability
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure corrective measures
• Lead material qualification, requalification, and change management
• Provide technical support to production during troubleshooting and ramp-up phases
• Drive cross-functional improvement initiatives regarding quality and costs

Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field
• At least 5 years of experience in material quality, supplier quality, or semiconductor manufacturing
• Certified Auditor (VDA 6.3, ISO 19011, or equivalent)
• Sound knowledge of material quality, process control, and risk management
• Experience with structured quality methods such as 8D, Six Sigma, or equivalent
• Ability to independently lead complex material and supplier quality issues
