On behalf of one of our partners located in the Bienne region, we are currently looking for an experienced civil engineering foreman to ensure the management and coordination of large-scale construction sites.

Job Description

-Manage and coordinate civil engineering sites of various sizes
-Supervise, coach, and organize teams present on the field
-Plan the different stages of the work and efficiently distribute tasks
-Ensure daily monitoring of construction site progress
-Guarantee compliance with plans, deadlines, and quality requirements
-Control the conformity of work according to current standards
-Participate in cost monitoring and the proper management of construction site resources
-Organize requirements for personnel, materials, machines, and equipment
-Ensure strict compliance with safety and environmental protection rules
-Anticipate difficulties and quickly find appropriate solutions to construction site unforeseen events
-Ensure good communication between teams, site management, and the various stakeholders
-Collaborate closely with the site manager
-Participate in site meetings and ensure the follow-up of decisions made

Profile sought

-Federal Diploma of Foreman or training deemed equivalent
-Confirmed experience as a foreman in civil engineering, ideally with at least 5 years of experience
-Excellent knowledge of civil engineering work: formwork, concreting, masonry, and general site organization
-Experience in managing large construction sites and leading teams
-Very good ability to read and interpret plans
-Ability to work independently and to make decisions in the field
-Natural leadership and aptitude to create a good working climate within teams
-Organized, rigorous, reliable, and solution-oriented person
-Good communication skills
-Driver's license
-Good knowledge of German indispensable
-French, a real advantage for working in the bilingual region of Bienne
