Driver/Delivery Person at 60-70%

In order to strengthen our distribution team, we are looking for a night driver/delivery person at 60%-70%, departing from Bussigny. You will mainly ensure the delivery of automotive parts to garages located in the Lausanne region, in Yverdon, in the Vallée de Joux and the peripheral areas.

Your responsibilities:

Sort and prepare goods before departure on the route.
Scan delivery notes and check the compliance of shipments.
Load the vehicle according to the defined order and delivery route.
Ensure night deliveries to our customers, in compliance with their specific procedures.
Use a smartphone or a mobile application for scanning delivery documents and taking photos when necessary.
Ensure the proper upkeep, cleanliness, and routine maintenance of your vehicle.
Report any potential anomalies, incidents, or discrepancies daily via an end-of-route report.
Represent the company professionally to our customers.

Your profile:

Category B driving license mandatory
Valid work permit mandatory (no permit applications will be carried out)
Very good driving experience, ideally in delivery or distribution.
Good geographical knowledge of the Lausanne region, Yverdon, the Vallée de Joux and surrounding sectors.
Comfortable with the use of a smartphone, mobile applications, document scanning and taking photos.
Autonomous, reliable, organized person capable of working alone during the night.
Good sense of responsibility and rigorous respect for delivery procedures.
Good physical condition, especially during seasonal periods of high activity, such as tire changes.
Good vision and ability to drive at night.
Previous experience working at night is an asset.
Proficiency in spoken and written French necessary for instructions and route reports.
Job conditions
Activity rate: 60%-70%.
Departure location: Bussigny.
Hours: approximately from 19:00 to 02:00, depending on the route and activity.
Start date: immediately.
Training: internship and training period planned upon commencement.
Stable activity within a dynamic logistics environment.
