You will accompany cases from the initial investigation to completion, assess coverage and liability, and conduct negotiations with all parties involved.   In doing so, you will regularly travel in the Zurich region, inspect claim locations, and clarify facts directly on-site. With your confident manner, your negotiation skills, and your understanding of the situation of those affected, you create trust - even when interests differ. Become part of it too and apply as a Claims Inspector.* * * *   What you do • You independently process complex claims in property and General Liability insurance - from the claim report to completion. • You clarify facts with policyholders, claimants, experts, lawyers, and insurance companies and inspect claim locations in the Zurich region. • You assess insurance coverage, liability, and scope of loss, document your investigations traceably, and make decisions within your competencies. • You conduct negotiations with all involved parties, coordinate the necessary measures, and initiate claim payments. • You check subrogation possibilities, work with internal specialist departments and external partners, and ensure clear, timely communication.     What you bring   • You have training in the insurance industry; a federal diploma in insurance or a degree from a Higher Technical College in insurance is an advantage. • You have at least five years of professional experience in processing claims, ideally in property and/or General Liability insurance. • You bring sound knowledge in coverage and liability assessment as well as experience in dealing with complex claim cases. • You negotiate confidently, present yourself convincingly even in demanding situations, and find pragmatic and customer-oriented solutions. • You work independently, structured, and reliably, communicate very well in German, and have good MS Office skills; further language skills are an advantage.     Your contact   Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant: Bernd Makasy (044 628 42 14)     Additional information   Part-time or full-time: 80 - 100% Work location: Zürich, Oerlikon or Kriens, Luzern Travel activity: up to 60 % Hybrid working: up to 40% \#LI-Hybrid  We look forward to your online application - even without a cover letter.
