Project Manager in Civil Engineering

This is what you can achieve. • As a Project Manager, you manage a portfolio of multidisciplinary projects and lead engineering structures from the preliminary study to commissioning.   • You take on the overall management of the projects and ensure compliance with costs, deadlines, quality, and safety.  • You coordinate internal specialists as well as external contractors and stakeholders and ensure an efficient interface to railway operations.   • You take over the control and validation of designs as well as the dimensioning of load-bearing structures and carry out internal expert assessments if necessary.   • Depending on the dossier, you take on the overall management of construction execution and represent the projects in committees or external instances.   This is what you bring with you. • With your proactive and initiative way of working, you lead interdisciplinary teams and convince different stakeholders.   • In demanding project situations, you solve problems in a structured manner and communicate clearly and appropriately for the target group.  • You bring several years of professional experience, for example from planning offices, from construction management, or from project management, and initial experience in railway project management is an advantage.  • You have sound technical knowledge in the calculation, planning, and execution of load-bearing structures, for example with experience in reinforced concrete and metal construction.   • You have completed training as a Civil Engineer at ETH, FH, or an equivalent qualification and use French and German at level B2 in everyday professional life.
