Ensuring electricity in Switzerland

In this exciting role, you will always keep yourself up to date on current developments in cyber and information security. Together with your colleagues, you are co-responsible for the implementation of the Cyber Security Strategy, including the necessary specifications and guidelines. You support and advise ICT specialists in the design, the ICT security architecture, as well as in the development and operation of secure solutions. You contribute to strengthening the security culture regarding information security in the company with suitable measures and support the operational security operations. «Security by Design» is your guiding principle.
You will particularly perform the following tasks:-

• Management of cyber risks and compliance with security specifications
• Implementation of risk treatments and development of suitable measures for risk reduction
• Implementation and/or organization of assessments for risk identification
• Examination of existing infrastructure facilities and applications regarding the application of Cyber Security Best Practices, internal specifications, and guidelines
• Active participation in the further development of security architectures and assessment of the impact on security and compliance in the areas of ICT and OT.
• Accompanying and participating in ICT projects to enforce a «Secure-by-Design» strategy

With your strong powers of persuasion and assertiveness, you succeed in anchoring security requirements in the company. As a communication talent with sound know-how in the infrastructure environment - you convince both professionally and personally.
You bring the following:

• Comprehensive competencies either in the field of ICT Infrastructure, including a focus on network technologies, protocols, server and client engineering, as well as security appliances, or in the field of «secure development» of applications including AI-relevant aspects - on both a conceptual and technical level.
• Completed university degree and excellent specialist knowledge or further training in the field of Cyber Security
• Experience in the creation and enforcement of security guidelines and concepts
• Sound knowledge of the standards for cyber and information security (e.g., IKT-Minimalstandard, NIST CSF, OWASP SAMM, BSI IT-Grundschutz, ISO2700x) as well as for the areas of network security, cloud connectivity and application security-
• Know-how in the field of risk management as well as practical experience in the implementation of Information Security Risk Assessments according to ISO / IEC 27005 or ISO / IEC 31000
• Certification as CISSP, CISM or similar is desirable
• Experience in the energy industry is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German and English
