Your Role
We are seeking a MYP Science Teacher (100%) to Secondary School from August 2027.
The role involves teaching integrated Science (Biology, Chemistry, and Physics) across Grades 6–10
within the IB Middle Years Programme.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach MYP Science in accordance with IB MYP frameworks and objectives.
• Deliver inquiry-based, concept-driven lessons that promote scientific thinking and curiosity.
• Plan and supervise laboratory and experimental work, ensuring safe practices.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Design and assess student learning using MYP assessment criteria.
• Provide timely feedback and maintain clear communication with students, parents, and tutors.
• Act as a tutor (homeroom teacher) and contribute to the Personal Development Programme.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and interdisciplinary initiatives.

What you bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field) and a

recognised teaching qualification.

• At least 4 years of relevant secondary teaching experience, preferably in an international

school.

• Strong knowledge of the IB Middle Years Programme (DP experience an advantage).
• Ability to support students with diverse learning needs in an inclusive environment.
• Excellent English communication skills; German is an asset.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and ICT skills.
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland is an advantage.
