Operations Manager Chemicals

Your tasks

You will take on overall responsibility for the Wetzikon location and successfully continue to lead it in terms of safety, quality, delivery reliability, efficiency, and culture.

In doing so, you are particularly responsible for:

• Leading the areas of production, filling, packaging, logistics, and technology
• Controlling operational key figures as well as achieving the agreed goals
• Ensuring stable, efficient, and economical processes
• Further development of organization, employees, and infrastructure
• Implementation of investments, improvement projects, and automation projects
• Close cooperation with sales, development, quality, and purchasing
• Representation of the location towards internal and external stakeholders
• Member of the Business Unit Carex management team

Your profile

• Technical training, ideally further training as an Engineer FH / HF, chemist, industrial engineer or comparable
• Several years of leadership experience in production, operations, or plant management
• Experience in an industrial environment such as chemicals, pharma, food, cosmetics, or packaging
• Clear leadership, high personal responsibility, and implementation strength
• Entrepreneurial thinking with an eye for costs, quality, and people
• Hands-on mentality as well as enjoyment of change and improvement
• Very good German skills, English is an advantage
