Your area of responsibility You develop the global strategy for FX, precious metals and digital assets for LGT Private Bank Europe and thereby actively contribute to the further development of the investment strategy. You analyze macroeconomic developments, central bank policy and market dynamics and create valuation and forecasting models in the FX area. You derive sound investment views, tactical recommendations and concrete trading ideas from your analyses. You prepare investable recommendations for the weekly investment meetings and present them convincingly. You ensure that Relationship Managers as well as female and male customers are provided with relevant market updates, investment views and tactical recommendations in a timely manner. You work closely with colleagues from macro analysis as well as with the strategy teams for Fixed Income and Equities to comprehensively assess cross-asset implications. You represent the investment views of LGT Private Bank Europe to front-office colleagues and private female and male customers. Your profile You have a university degree in economics, finance or a related field. Ideally, you bring initial practical or research experience in the field of currency and/or precious metal strategy; knowledge in the field of digital assets is an advantage. You have 1-3 years of relevant experience in investment strategy, research or a comparable environment; we also welcome consideration of excellent university graduates. A CFA or CEFA/CIIA qualification or the ongoing acquisition of such a certification is a plus. You possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, very good knowledge of statistical methods as well as advanced Excel skills; MATLAB is an advantage. You are familiar with forecasting and trading models; experience in backtesting and cross-asset strategies is desirable. You communicate confidently in German and English and convince with an audience-appropriate, customer-oriented demeanor. You work independently, committed and service-oriented, bring strong team spirit and are willing to travel occasionally.
