Bed Disponent

The Nursing Directorate is responsible for the Central Bed Management of the Insel Gruppe and is looking for a new colleague to strengthen the team.

What awaits you

• As a Bed Disponent, you coordinate and schedule emergency inpatient and outpatient patient admissions and primarily support the University Hospital for Emergency Medicine and other units in the transfer of patients to medical areas
• You maintain the overall operational overview of bed occupancy and support the assurance of admission capacity
• You undertake additional bed scheduling tasks, taking into account capacities, patient situations, and other relevant framework conditions
• You record, manage, and control bed blocks, thereby contributing to transparent management of the available bed capacities
• As a central contact person, you work closely with the medical areas, the emergency station, and other interprofessional interfaces
• You undertake defined tasks in the area of the personnel pool for sitting watches and nursing assistants
• You actively contribute to the further development of the Central Bed Management and future capacity management

What you bring with you

• You are a Dipl. Pflegefachperson HF/FH, optionally with an NDS degree ICU, anesthesia and/or emergency
• You have at least two years of professional experience in an acute care hospital
• You can draw on experience in complex patient situations and ideally bring knowledge in the coordination or scheduling of patients
• You maintain an overview even in demanding and hectic situations and can set priorities
• You are characterized by high social competence as well as strong communication and teamwork skills
• You work independently, reliably, and solution-oriented and enjoy a dynamic working environment
• You are ready to work in shift operation from Monday to Sunday (day and late shifts)
