Stiftung Noveos - perspectives for people with mental impairments - is a company with the goal of creating added value for the individual person and for society. In our nine different businesses and residential offerings, we enable people with mental impairments to have a life, housing, and work that meets their needs.

At TextilArt in Männedorf, approximately 25 employees currently work with part-time workloads within a protected framework, including trainees. They are guided, supported, and accompanied by a specialist team. TextilArt executes customer orders in the areas of alterations, repairs, washing and ironing services, and new creations of clothing as well as home textiles. In the shop, gift items are sold as well as own products created at TextilArt.

Your tasks

In this versatile function, you combine your specialist knowledge in clothing design with agogic accompaniment. You guide and accompany our employees with mental impairments in their daily work, promote their professional and personal skills, and support them in further developing their individual resources.

As part of the reference person work, you conduct location meetings and engage in regular exchange with referring agencies. Together with a female colleague, you also bear responsibility for the training of our apprentices as clothing designers EBA/EFZ. You also accompany persons in vocational preparation on their way and maintain contact with authorities, professional associations, and vocational schools.

In addition to the agogic work, you actively contribute to our operational daily life. You take responsibility for the entire order processing and actively participate in services, productions, as well as in the development and manufacture of our own products.

What you bring with you

You mandatory possess a completed training as a clothing designer EFZ and bring several years of professional experience. You are familiar with the current developments and requirements of the vocational reform and ideally already have experience in the training and accompaniment of apprentices. A vocational trainer certificate is an advantage.

You are well-versed with industrial sewing machines and industrial production techniques and enjoy working practically and in a solution-oriented manner. Experience in the accompaniment of people with mental impairments as well as agogic further training and several years of activity in an agogic environment ideally round off your profile.

As an independent, proactive, and flexible personality, you bring high social competence, empathy, and psychological resilience. It is particularly important to us that you enjoy combining your manual specialist knowledge with agogic accompaniment and supporting people in their professional and personal development.
