Physiotherapist in the Department of Medicine \- 100%
Under the supervision of the Physiotherapist responsible for the Department of Medicine, you will join a team composed of 16 physiotherapists. You will join the acute care team and carry out hospital care, including functional and respiratory treatments, in different units of the department of medicine as well as in the department of surgery and in the private division.
In your activities, you will intervene interdisciplinarily with the doctors responsible for the different sectors, the medico-therapeutic staff, and you will have occasional contact with the nursing staff specialized clinically in the pathologies being treated. In this framework, you will actively participate in the various clinical and functional colloquia during which you communicate in a concise, structured, and diplomatic manner.
With the team, you will prioritize your care in order to ensure an equitable distribution to offer quality physiotherapeutic support to the approximately 400 patients distributed across the different specialties of the acute care sector. You demonstrate a reflective attitude by questioning your colleagues about the practices used and you propose new ideas when the situation invites it.
You have a proven taste for sharing your knowledge and your clinical practice with health personnel and physiotherapists in training. Your sense of pedagogy allows you to accompany students in their training path and develop their skills at the heart of care, through the supervisions you offer.
Qualifications
You hold a Bachelor HES in physiotherapy or a physiotherapy diploma recognized and registered by the Swiss Red Cross.
You have experience and/or have followed complementary training in the respiratory field including bronchial clearance techniques and the use of specific respiratory equipment.
You are able to work autonomously while demonstrating team spirit. This allows you to evolve flexibly within an interprofessional team by relying on an excellent sense of communication and a desire to evolve in your practices.
Fluency with IT tools (Office Suite) is necessary to successfully carry out this mission. Mastery of HUG applications, notably DPI, is a plus.
You have the aptitude to work within a multidisciplinary team and to promote the quality of care.
You are organized and know how to work autonomously by defining your priorities.
You have an ability for analysis and synthesis and know how to manage stress with professionalism.
You are open to changes, to questioning your practices, and demonstrate availability and punctuality.
You have ease in reception and human relations, with a strong capacity for listening and empathy.
