For a specialized nursing center in the Basel region, we are looking for a healthcare specialist EFZ (Fachfrau / Fachmann Gesundheit EFZ) with a workload of 80 % for the role of deputy residential group management, starting immediately or by arrangement. The family-like institution specializes in the care and support of people with dementia and offers residents a personal and appreciative environment. In small residential groups, work is carried out according to a milieu therapeutic approach, with the individual needs, independence, and quality of life of the residents being the focus.

In this varied position, you combine direct care with organizational responsibility and support the residential group management in coordinating daily nursing routines. You will become part of a motivated team with short decision-making paths and will receive the opportunity to further develop your professional and organizational skills. Your tasks with the new employer:

• You take over the individual care and support of people with dementia according to the primary caregiver system and ensure professional, needs-oriented care
• The responsibility for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing process as well as ensuring a high quality of care within the residential group are among your central tasks
• Together with the residential group management, you organize and coordinate the daily processes and support structured and smooth cooperation within the nursing team
• In the absence of the residential group management, you take over their deputy role and ensure that the nursing and organizational processes are reliably continued

You offer your new employer:

• A completed training as a healthcare specialist EFZ or an equivalent recognized qualification forms the basis for this responsible position
• You bring several years of professional experience in geriatric care and palliative care and ideally already possess initial leadership experience
• A structured way of working, networked thinking, and organizational skill enable you to coordinate different tasks and set priorities correctly
