Pro Senectute Kanton Schaffhausen is the largest private organisation in the service of older people. As a centre of competence and services in the field of age, ageing and intergenerational relationships, we work to maintain and improve the quality of life into old age. From 1. October 2026 to 31. March 2027 we are looking for a Sozialarbeiter/-in 60% ## (maternity leave replacement with prospect of permanent employment) who will support and advise our clients in a sound and qualified manner. Your tasks • You advise older people and their relatives independently and comprehensively • You support our clients in the sense of help for self-help • You support clients in social insurance matters • You conduct guardianships for older people on behalf of the KESB • You work in tandem with the administrative office, which takes over administrative tasks • You work with social institutions, homes and authorities Your profile • You have a diploma in social work or a comparable qualification • You enjoy working with older people and are an empathetic, communicative and committed person • You like to work in a team • As a social worker, you have in-depth knowledge of social insurance matters • Ideally, you have experience in statutory social work and good knowledge of MS365 We offer • A cheerful, collegiate and age-mixed team in a meaningful organisation • A varied and responsible activity in a dynamic environment • Professional support as well as regular inter- and supervision • Flexible working hours • Height-adjustable office desks, two screens and modern employment conditions • A workplace in the old town of Schaffhausen • We would be happy to present our other offers to you in person Interested?
