Global Product Support Engineer

This role provides global product support and R&D engineering for a grid components portfolio, ensuring product quality and compliance with technical standards.

Tasks

• Provide global product support for grid components
• Develop innovative product solutions following standards, design rules and internal processes
• Lead or contribute to R&D and product support projects
• Collaborate with global R&D, product management, supply chain and operations teams
• Support resolution of technical quality issues
• Perform internal factory audits
• Create, maintain and release technical documentation including schematics, calculations and drawings

Profile

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
• Proficiency in CAD tools such as Creo or AutoCAD
• Experience with PLM (Windchill) and/or ERP (SAP) systems
• Strong teamwork skills with ability to work independently
• Project management experience is a plus
• Fluent English; basic German preferred or willingness to learn
