Specialist Open Youth Work

The VJF carries out mandates for Open Youth Work in over 50 municipalities and offers integration services and socio-cultural activities. The employees of the VJF implement diverse projects and offers with the target groups in the municipalities. The focus of the activities is on the promotion of action and social competence. Voluntariness, participation, and resource orientation are the guiding principles of action. On behalf of the municipality of Muri, the VJF implements the Open Youth Work. Open Youth Work Muri is mainly aimed at young people from 11 to 18 years old. It operates a youth center with regular opening hours, is active in public spaces, and implements projects and events for and with young people. It works together with local partners, institutions, and authorities. For the implementation and content design of the Open Youth Work Muri, we are looking for a Specialist Open Youth Work ## Work begins in August or by arrangement. You enjoy working with young people and bring suitable experience. Ideally, you have tertiary education in Social Work, a related field, or are on your way to obtaining one. You work regularly on Wednesday and Friday and are ready for predictable assignments in the evening and on weekends. Opportunities for partially flexible working hours and home office are provided.
