Prorector Basic Education

For the 2027/28 school year (1 August 2027) or by arrangement, we are looking for a Prorector Basic Education. Your tasks * You assume responsibility for basic education and shape its pedagogical, organizational, and quality-oriented further development. * You lead and support teachers and, together with them, create good framework conditions for successful teaching and learning. * You are responsible for the organization of school operations and coordinate the overarching scheduling, room, and resource planning. * You initiate and accompany development and quality projects and contribute new ideas to the further development of our school. * You bear responsibility for the examination system and the qualification procedures. * You maintain cooperation with training companies, the OdA Gesundheit und Soziales Thurgau, the inter-company courses, as well as other partners in vocational training. * As a member of the school management team, you help shape the development of the entire BfGS, support the Rector, and undertake deputy tasks. * With a teaching activity in a small workload, you remain close to everyday school life and to our learners. Your profile * You are familiar with vocational training and ideally have a connection to the health or social sector. * You have teaching experience and the corresponding teaching qualification for secondary level II. * You bring leadership experience and enjoy supporting and promoting employees and achieving goals together. * You have already completed school management training or are prepared to complete it. * You think in networks, organize proactively, and maintain an overview even in a lively everyday school life. * You communicate clearly and appreciatively, bring different perspectives together, and make decisions with moderation. * You are digitally savvy and enjoy further developing contemporary forms of work, teaching, and learning. * You bring initiative, team spirit, and the willingness to take responsibility for the BfGS as a whole.
