Polymechanic Grinding (w/m/d)

Are you a professional in mechanics in the field of grinding? We are looking for you as a Polymechanic Grinding (w/m/d) • Independent setup, dressing, and operation of conventional or CNC grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, or profile grinding). • Manufacturing of high-precision individual parts, prototypes, or small series according to technical drawings. • Independent performance of intermediate and final controls (shape, dimension, roughness) including seamless documentation. • Maintenance, care, and preparation of grinding tools and abrasives. Qualifications #### #### #### #### #### Technical Competencies #### • Grinding processes & machines: Familiarity with the operation, setup, and if necessary, programming of precision grinding machines (e.g., Studer, Tschudin, Kellenberger, Blohm or Jung). • Selection of abrasives: Sound knowledge of grinding wheels, dressing tools, coolants, as well as cutting and feed rates for different materials (e.g., hardened steel, carbide, ceramic). • Drawing proficiency: Confident reading and implementation of complex technical drawings with a focus on form, position, and surface tolerances (e.g., $Ra$-, $Rz$-values). • Highest measuring competence: Experienced handling of high-precision measuring instruments (e.g., fine indicators, micrometers, optical measuring devices, form and roughness measuring devices) for control in the $\\muext\{m\}$-range. Personal & Social Competencies #### • Patience & obsession with precision: High concentration ability, patience, and the necessary 'fingertip feeling' for working in the smallest tolerance fields. • Cleanliness & care: Strong awareness of hygiene and order at the workplace, as dust and temperature fluctuations influence the grinding results. • Independence: Reliable, structured, and independent working from the preparation of the workpiece to the final control. • Shift availability: Willingness to work in a 2-shift system, advantageous.
