Blumenhaus Buchegg offers a residential home with an integrated day center, a special school with therapies, a boarding school for children and adolescents, and sheltered workplaces for people with cognitive and multiple disabilities. Medical therapies round off the offer.

We are looking for a person as of immediately or by arrangement as:

Occupational Therapist FH/HF in the special school sector, 50-80%

? Your tasks:

• You undertake client-centered occupational therapy assessment, planning, treatment, documentation, and evaluation according to medical prescription.
• You accompany the acquisition and adaptation of client-centered aids.
• You work interdisciplinary with the various specialist departments, relatives, medical professionals, and external agencies.
• You contribute your expertise to meetings, team meetings, as well as to the further development and quality assurance of occupational therapy.

? What you bring:

• You have a recognized, completed training as an occupational therapist HF/FH.
• Ideally, you have practical experience / further training in (neuro)pediatrics or in the special education sector as well as basic knowledge of pediatric diagnoses, especially in the autism spectrum.
• You deal with challenging behavior and short-term changes in daily work life in a resilient and flexible manner.
• You are willing to get actively involved and to develop professionally and personally.

You have plenty of room for initiative and flexible work organization, as well as the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and actively participate in the further development of the specialist department. During school holidays, you are off work, seven of which are paid. In addition, we support your professional development through internal and external further training.

From the beginning of 2027, we will move into our new building with spacious therapy rooms, modern working conditions, and plenty of room for your professional and personal development.
