For our editorial office in Siders, we are looking for a
Translator
Your main tasks:
Translation and adaptation of topics and programs from Ösisch into German/Upper Valais German and vice versa
Creation of voice-overs
Coordination and management of our network of contact persons
Your profile:
University education or equivalent degree in a relevant field
Several years of professional experience in the field of translation
Perfect knowledge of the German and Ösisch languages as well as the Upper Valais dialect
Experience in subtitling and in the creation of voice-overs is an advantage
Confident handling of common computer programs, knowledge of audiovisual production systems is an advantage
Knowledge of the social, economic, political and cultural environment of the Canton of Wallis
Strong analytical skills and sense of interpretation
Flexibility, creativity and team spirit
Degree of employment: 40% on average per year
Workplace: Siders
Start date: 15. August 2026 or by arrangement
